Engagement records, not case studies.

Every entry below is work that actually shipped. Client names stay out until they say otherwise, the numbers are real, and each record names its own limit.

Payroll reconstruction · six years of records

264 to 17, documents · 50 minutesdocuments · 50 minuteswas 264

The problem

Six years of pay stubs sitting as loose documents. Rebuilding them into per-employee records by hand is days of typing nobody can bill honestly.

What was built

An extraction pass that reads the stubs and writes one clean workbook per employee. Anything ambiguous goes to a review file rather than being filled in with a best guess.

The honest limit

Only worth building where the same document shape recurs. A one-off pile of mixed paperwork is cheaper done by hand, and you will be told so.

Monthly cheque matching · a finance back office

40 to 0, hand lookups per statementhand lookups per statementwas 40

The problem

Cheque numbers read off a bank export, then hunted one by one through a register. Forty lookups a statement, every month, with a real error rate.

What was built

A matcher that joins on the cheque number alone and writes output in the shape the accounting software already expects. It refuses to invent a payee.

The honest limit

It will not guess. Rows it cannot match with certainty land in a review file, which is the feature rather than a shortcoming.

Financial services · intake

Paper → linkone afternoon

The problem

A paper intake sheet handed out at events. Answers came back on clipboards, went into a drawer, and rarely came out again.

What was built

A link and a QR code, answers landing somewhere private, and an alert the moment one arrives.

The honest limit

The build was the easy half. Notifications failing quietly is how leads die, so anything shipped now says out loud when it has stopped working.

Why there are no testimonials here yet.

Because nobody has given permission to publish one. When a client is happy to put their name and their number on a page, it will appear here with both. Until then, the work speaks with the figures attached and the limits stated, which is the more useful half anyway.

The same rule governs everything on this site. Nothing is claimed that cannot be shown.
